Jurgen Klopp is a greater manager than Arsene Wenger.
That’s according to respected French football publication France Football, who have revealed their list of the 50 greatest managers of all time.
Comparing managers across different eras, where some careers are 50 years apart, France Football explain their criteria is based on trophies won, longevity and the impact they have left behind.
Liverpool manager Klopp, who worked wonders at Mainz before landing the Borussia Dortmund job in 2008, is ranked at no.27, one place behind Anfield legend Bob Paisley, who won six First Division titles, three League Cups, three European Cups and the UEFA Cup. He also left a lasting impression on Kenny Dalglish and Graeme Souness.
Wenger won three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups during his 22 years at Arsenal and reached the final of both the UEFA Cup and Champions League.
Klopp, prior to joining Liverpool in 2015, won two German titles and the German Cup as well as reaching the Champions League final, something he also managed with Liverpool.
