Manchester City have reportedly made an offer for Joao Felix that would trigger his release clause.
The Benfica midfielder is wanted by a host of top clubs around Europe this summer after an impressive breakthrough season.
The 19-year-old scored 19 goals and provided eight assists and his performances have attracted plenty of suitors.
Manchester United are said to have already made a bid of around £90million for Felix but that is some way off Benfica’s valuation.

And Man City have made an offer which matches the teenager’s release clause, a report in CM Jornal claims.
They also say that the Manchester club want to tie Felix down to a four or five year contract worth around £4million a year.
