Chelsea have applied for a visa for Mason Mount ahead of their pre-season tour in Japan, according to reports.
The 20-year-old has starred in a loan spell for Derby in the Championship, scoring 11 goals and four goals in all competitions this season.
He also netted in the Rams’ 4-2 win over Leeds on Wednesday night to set up a Championship play-off final clash against Aston Villa on May 27.
Under the guidance of Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, Mount has been one of the standout players in the second tier.

And The Times claim the midfielder will have the chance to impress Blues boss Maurizio Sarri on their pre-season tour in July.
But if he is not able to dislodge the likes of N’Golo Kante and Ross Barkley from Chelsea’s midfield, then he could be sent back on loan to Derby.
