And with just one year left on his Stamford Bridge deal, Hazard has been heavily linked with a summer move to long-term admirers Real Madrid.

“If it’s my last game I will try to do everything for this club to win a trophy,” he told BT Sport.

“In my mind I don’t know yet [about the future], I don’t think about that. I’m only thinking about winning something for this club and this squad.

“We played a great game but the semi-final is not so easy. We are happy and we will go to Baku to try to win the trophy.”

Chelsea will take on Arsenal in an all-English Europa League final on May 29 after the Gunners beat Valencia 7-3 on aggregate in the other semi-final tie.

Reports in Spain claim Hazard could hand in a transfer request in an attempt to force through a move to Madrid.

The Blues will be even more reluctant to let their star man leave after the club’s transfer ban was upheld on Wednesday.

In February, Chelsea were fined £460,000 for 29 transfer breaches and FIFA turned down their appeal earlier this week, with the case set to go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri admits the club will not be able to catch Premier League rivals Manchester City and Liverpool unless their transfer ban is overturned.

He said: “It’s very difficult to cover the gap at the moment – we need to work, probably we need to do something from the market.

“So it’s not easy, because the level of the top two is very, very high. As we can see in Europe so it’s not easy.

“Of course, we have to work and we have to try. In my opinion we can reduce the gap.

“I don’t believe when you buy 10 players, I think that we have to buy only one, two players, otherwise it’s very difficult to improve immediately.

“I think we are a very good team, so we need only one, two players, no more.”
